      Lots of work, too many hours, but intense amounts of learning

      Pros

      Proud to work there. Lots of hands on experience and the freedom to do your own work. Opportunities to take work from beginning to end.

      Cons

      Disrespectful managers with no regard for regular work hours. Expect to work about 60 hours a week minimum, and get paid only for 40 hours. The salary does not compensate for what the company demands of employees. Significant lack of organization throughout the company, which was a constant source of annoyance.

      Pros

      Loved the people who work there. Benefits were fully paid by the company unless you wanted an upgrade - still a great perk. Stock options used to be great.

      Cons

      The CEO sets horrible restrictions on employee reviews. On a scale of 1-5 it was said that NO ONE could get a 5 - or they would have to go in front of Elon and explain why they should be the CEO. And to get a 4 - it was near impossible. I did; but apparently my supervisor had to go to bat for me. If the scale is truely 1-3, then make it as such. The company would pivot direction based on a tweet - and we were the last ones to know. We had to follow Elon's twitter account if we wanted company direction - ridiculous.

      Pros

      Great health benefits: vision, dental, and health. 401k, RSUs, PTO, sick time

      Cons

      No work/life balance, terrible management, numbers and productivity valued over people, ran like a factory environment. Timed breaks, 30 min lunch, very strict time punch in’s, user timeline tracking for everyday, no stability internally with projects changing on the fly. Supervisors are constantly let go, and changed. No real opportunities for growth and professional developments. A joke.
