Currently in the UK team. You can work 7 day weeks give up your personal time and work super hard, to only find out you’ve been surpassed by a somewhat lazier employee with a reputation of last minute holidays and poor attitude because they may well interview better than you. They simply do not focus or likely care about the job you do but rather the interview score you get when apply for promotions Not enough is done to focus on internal talent, and if you push yourself to apply they will never encourage you into it It is a tough pill to swallow
