Pros

The Non-Seniority People that work there would do anything for you

Cons

If you work hard that work you harder and give you the crap jobs to do. If you coast along and do the minimum you are rewarded. Feels like my school days. You are in the Tesco Gang or you are a nobody. Pathetic!

Pros

The pay for the sector is good as are the benefits. You meet a lot of good people. They are very flexible around study commitments.

Cons

Although they claim to have plenty of opportunity to progress within the company, your face has to fit rather than any semblance of meritocracy. Often if your direct report doesn't know the answer to something, they won't escalate it, they'll just tell you they don't know and that is that. Often staff are promoted to higher jobs if they are bad workers just so their original manager can offload them.
