Pros

Great team environment, work-life balance is great if you are not salaried (overtime is rarely allowed)

Cons

Not a lot of opportunity for promotion/development, management and staff can be cliquey, negotiating raises after getting hired is extremely difficult, stores are often not provided with enough equipment for everyone to do their job, payroll cuts/skeleton teams

Pros

This position definitely has a lot of lee way.. with it. It's not a defined role so you can make it what you want. Visually merchandising is a lot of fun!; if you have an eye for design.

Cons

The position isnt defined very well so it's hard to know why your supposed to do. Since every store is different and expects different things from you.
