      Great place to work... smart people in the finance area. Advancement possible, as long as you perform well on the job!!!

      Cons

      Sometimes the enviroment can be political... meaning it's sometimes who you know and not what you know. Still a great place to work.

      Absolutely great corporate culture and it's a company that you can be proud of. I love that we are encouraged to volunteer and support the communities in which we live.

      Cons

      I have yet to see a downside to working for Target.

      My Spin on Target

      Pros

      I have worked for Target for 14 months now and have enjoyed working for the company. I enjoy the guest interaction day to day and the flexibility of not working a typical 9-5 Monday through Friday job. I like to be up and moving around as well and not sitting at a desk all day really seems to fit my personality as well. Target also seems to build a good culture of working together and really embraces the term "team member". Employees really become like a family and relationships are created that can last well into the future and of course the employee discount doesn't hurt either :)

      Cons

      The major downfall that I have with Target is the pay but also retail has never been known to pay great...at least at the lower level that is.
