Pros

Working for Target as a part time employee is simple. For the most part you are helping guests find merchandise around the store and stocking shelves. Most of the people you work with are friendly and professional. Also, management will treat you with respect as long as you show them you are a hard worker.

Cons

Blackout dates during the summer and holiday season are brutal. These are the busiest times of the year for Target, so, they don't let you request any time off for vacations during those time periods. If you can get around that, then I would have to say dealing with angry/disrespectful customers, (known as guests) is the worst part.

Pros

Get to work with a lot of different people. I enjoyed walking around for 8 hours because it helped me lose weight. You can window shop while you work.

Cons

A con is that you are on your feet all day and it can get tiring. Pay is not great. Not much room for advancement past team unless you have a degree in that area. Have to work holidays and weekends.
