      Target: Too big for their own good.

      Pros

      People you work with directly are good people, it is management that is a problem

      Cons

      Too many employees, you just become a number instead of a person. Getting vacation approved is like pulling teeth. There is NO communication between management and low level employees. Complaints always fall on deaf ears, and no consideration is given for any issues brought up. The discount is not even worth the trouble of working for this company. If you try to get a job in a different function of the company, you are treated worse than off the street applicants. They are too afraid you will leave and go to a different department.

      Pros

      Target will work with you to find the right department to work in. I have found that for me it has been a good college job because they will work with your schedule to make sure you have enough time for class.

      Cons

      Weekend hours and night hours. also management tends to ignore you. Often times decisions that could use your insight are ignored.
