Pros

Amazing team, nice customers, good pay and cross-training opportunities, great flexibility and response to requests from management, lots of recognition for hard work

Cons

If you're a cashier, REDcards are going to be absolutely awful for you. Like, they don't stress it in the interview or the posting, but you're expected to get someone to sign up for one per shift and for someone who isn't explicitly trained in sales it can get pretty stressful to keep up with.

Pros

I worked at Target for five years. While I was in college, my managers were very understanding about my class schedule, and even allowed me to take months leave during the semester. When I returned from college during holidays and summer vacation, I was always guaranteed a job, and did not have to reapply like other companies make students do.

Cons

The only con was the room for growth. After graduation, I wanted to work in advanced management side of the company, but they did not have any openings, therefore I had to find work somewhere else.

Pros

Great Team Leaders, Managers, They work hard to insure their employees are happy working for them. Flexible hours Great about letting employees have time off for family functions. Closed Christmas and Easter so we can be with family and church

Cons

Late holiday hours, especially Christmas Eve., when EVERYONE is busy, either with family or preparing for Christmas.
