Target Ops Manager

Pros

Target has lots of opportunities for development internally as well as with schooling and other learning options. I have 3 days off/week and I do not work on those days, even remote, unless I want to.

Cons

Culture can be good, depending on your relationship with upper management. If your manager doesn’t like you, they often nit pick and try to push you to quit instead of having a conversation you may expect from a leader of leaders. Culture can have lots of favoritism as well. To succeed, you must play the political side well. They will advertise ops roles as 40hrs a week, you will end up working 52 ish in 4 days and it will be an expectation.
