Pros
Worked here for the last three years at my local outlet mall. I'm going to make this short and sweet: -Great sales training (even if you can't sell cake to a fat kid) -Good constructive criticism -Family-like work environment (my managers have become like 2nd mothers to me) -Fast-paced (depending if you work in a Men's or Women's store.) -Team share is amazing if you all perform exceptionally -"All in this together" mentality -Managers will go out of their way to mentor you in order for you to be better
Cons
With good must come bad so here we go: -Some customers (but that's every retail store so what can you do?) -Few managers tend to put down, undercut, or make fun of you in front of a customer in an attempt to defuse a situation. -Not much room for growth depending on where you are. -Non-commissioned based
