Pros

They pay if your single and don't have anyone to support but yourself. Pay is not enough for the non-stop complains from passengers. They hire some very incompetent people so most but not all of your coworkers will have no clue how to courteous or how to communicate politely with passengers. They promote only the people that cannot think for themselves, therefore they have a bunch of incompetent idiots running the show. They do not like people that question there procedures and who think for themselves. You cannot take a sick day without receiving a letter of reprimand or being suspended. They make decisions about something and if there decision has concequences you will be the ones who suffer... It's an all around smoke and mirrors magic show that is not worth the stress they place on there TSOs shoulders.

Cons

Lack of morale. Lack of structure. Leads and supervisors don't have any decision making capabilities. Fast to hand out suspensions and disciplinary paperwork for mistakes upper management makes. Coworkers (most not all) are unintelligent and very rude. If you have an opinion or better way for things to be run they will do everything in there power to fire you. You cannot take your sick or annual leave.

Pros

Hours were decent. The work was somewhat interesting and workdays flew by. It is a large brotherhood and you do become friends with your co-workers. Once you get to know people, the job becomes fun. Would not hesitate to work there again if presented with the opportunity.

Cons

People are going to dislike you in any sort of security job. Other than that, quite a good job.

Pros

The best Pro Of this job is the good pay and benefits most people start at 14/hr which is pretty good.

Cons

Poor work environment and working conditions, you have to treat everyone like they are a threat to society!!! The hardest parts for me are patting down elderly people and veterans as well as people with disabilities and kids!! Being a Real American I won’t lie this is hard for me to do and it angers me still to this day doing it. Its pointlessss!!! Let’s trust are own people!! The people you work with are the Scum of the Earth and go out of their way to get you in trouble and everyone is unhappy you will learn that after you complete your training. Also it is a federal job yeah cool but everyone knows TSA agents are losers so where you going to go from their? My advice steer clear this place sucks poor work hours as well 445am-1015 am for new people
