Starting pay is better than 90% of careers, health benefits, amazing job security. Most TSO's (the backbone of the agency) are good people

Cons

Worst administrative offices I've ever seen, across multiple airports. It's as if they don't comprehend their job is to support the officers.

Stable paycheck, benefits, average income but not a living wage

Cons

little room for career advancement unless you are related to someone, unorganized, often threaten employees regarding using their FMLA or sick leave, nothing is standardized, they do not think that you have a life outside of work and do not work with you if there are any issues
