Pros

Great opportunity to apply customer service, fast-pace environment, flexible schedule although you have to bid for the shift.

Cons

Have to deal with stressful passengers all the time, uncompetitive salary and benefit compared to the workload, not so many opportunity for career advancement.

Pros

Decent pay for easy work, (If you don't mind searching bags and patting people down all day). Diverse group of co-workers and passengers you encounter.

Cons

Highly stressful. Lack of concern for officer safety. Highly scrutinized by the public and the media. Frequent budget cut scares. No attempts by management to boost moral. No flight benefits.
