Decent pay, you protect airline passengers, you learn about the government, good for beginner, not everyone is a bad person, there are good people that work there.

Cons

Government shutdowns, they hire low quality of people, the pay isn't that great, hostile work environment, almost every coworker of mine, including me, complains about the job, look elsewhere if you want a positive work environment.

Cons

You are not a person, you are a number. A body. You will be told one thing, but expected to do something entirely contrary to that very same thing. All blame rolls downhill till it gets to the Supervisor. Management takes no responsibility.
