TSA HQ Too Top Heavy

Business Outlook

Pros

Generally good work-life balance. An important mission.

Cons

TSA HQ is a very top heavy organization. It was only recently that TSA started to pay the TSOs (people who work the checkpoints at airports) a living salaries while HQ personnel took home generous salaries. TSA HQ constantly creates K and L band senior positions by taking lower band positions...it's a big circle-jerk. Not enough people to do the actual work but more senior officials running around creating more work.
