      The benefits package is better than average in the civilian world.

      Cons

      Very poor management. Many of the managers were openly disdainful of the uniformed staff. Every day involved some form of abuse (verbal insults mainly) from the public. Biased promotion system, if you aren't one of the chosen you will never be promoted.
