Pros

The people you work with, some of the customers you interact with. The free ice machine in the break room, plus the never ending humor that management dishes out as fact.

Cons

Hah, that's funny. The Cons, there are thousands of them. This place will basically hire anyone as long as they have a high school diploma and can speak the English language. The computers are broken, management is broken as well. I've never seen an employer that harasses their employees who call off as much as TP. A manager at the Fairborn Ohio location told his employees who had FMLA approved leave that they had to make up their time off. The system they put you on does not allow any After call time to allow the employee to finish up notes, or any other tasks. If you retain the account to finish up notes during the next call, they will consider it fraud and immediately terminate you. There are hundreds of ways to get fired here. The management is out of control, the floor walkers they assign have no real clue what is going on, it is done by popularity contest, not by knowledge of the job or any other factor. The site's management team decided it would be a good idea to put up on the internal TV network a few weeks ago "If you have a job, you come to work. It's in the Bible." When folks who don't believe in the bible complained, it was changed to "Fun fact: If you have a job, you come to work, It's in the Good Book :-)" Another slide they put up "Fun Fact: If you don't come to work, you and we do not get paid." The management team there is so scripted it's not even funny. Discipline is not issued to your face, it is issued through "Communications" inside of their messaging system. The communications they issue lack basic English skills and seem as though they are written else where. Also, the company continually had a "Now Hiring" sign out for so long that the city of Fairborn required them to remove it. They have Job Fairs on a weekly basis due to the morale being so horrible that folks quit without notice. Out of the training class I was in earlier this year they started out with 26, now they're down to 2.

Pros

They pay on time and there are a high personnel rotation, hence, there are many opportunities to grow

Cons

Benefits come after 90 days of employment, depending on the department you are, you may have a lot of pressure, for example, with Verizon Fios if your call lasts longer than 10 min, your supervisor starts to bother you.
