Pros

- Very Flexible - Global teams and presence - Supportive managers and team leads

Cons

- Promotions are a very complex process. e.g. - you have to be on a alert for the 'next grade' to be advertised (irrespective of the account) and then apply for the role through a series of formal interviews. The salary offered with the promotion will not match what is offered if the role was filled in by an external candidate. There is no guarantee when or if a 'grade above' what you are currently on will be advertised. So it could be 6 months or 3 years until an opportunity arises and in turn this lowers morale when you are putting in a lot of effort to progress your career. - Strong influence from Germany which can hinder improvement process. It is a very process driven organisation, but when the process is broken, it's incredibly hard to bring in improvements. There are several levels of review boards. I can count at least 7 chains of command to get a simple change implemented. The sales team are also not the best at listening to what the customer wants, and there are plenty of missed opportunities.. many of my colleagues would often say '' TSI are not here to make money''... which is a shame because there is plenty of talent and passion to provide a great service.

Pros

Great staff. High qualified and service oriented team players. Loving their work.

Cons

People are not important, they are only resources, part of the calculation. The most important tool for the management is the excell sheet. Everything moves only around profit and margin. The self-destructive spiral of cuts has led in the past six years to the loss of two thirds of the employees and the loss of significant contracts and customers. Local managers only care about themselves, the company is managed from Germany ignoring local conditions.
