Cons

Have created a toxic firing culture and this is team-specific. Vet your manager thoroughly and make sure it is a good fit. Company is obsessed with performance reviews. Make sure you dont give yourself a 4 or a 5 unless you hung the moon. In office - limited flexibility.

Good 401k contribution, and pension offered after 5 years of employment. In the summer you get off every Friday at 1.

Cons

Extremely demeaning work environment, very micromanaged, and no training whatsoever. This company on paper seems fantastic and the incentives and pay make you want to stay, but the amount of mental abuse that the managers give will force you to leave. They truly do care about employees here and HR is for management not you. This is an extremely clique environment with lots of office gossip. And if you are not sucking up to the upper management you will not last long here. If you don’t mind sacrificing your self confidence and identity this will be great for you.

Well established insurance carrier. good work - life balance. convenient location, less than 10 mins walk from grand central station.

Cons

Mandatory in office 4 days a week regardless you are sick or have a flu. if you can work, then you can be in the office. remote is not an option here.
