Pros

They have benefits even for part time partners and there are some amazing people working for the company that do make you enjoy your time there

Cons

There is limited or no room for growth unless you play an extremely politicized game. I know this takes place in many companies but it was so bad at times that numerous people could complain about harassment from a manager and they were not removed or even seriously reprimanded. It was like being told to deal with it and if you ever spoke out against a questionable policy, you would not be promoted

Pros

Free drinks when on shift, free pound of coffee every week, benefits if you work 20/hrs a week after 3 months, great people, some room for advancement

Cons

Way too many outside hires when there are good internal candidates working hard to try to get promoted to management positions. It was an "unwritten" expectation in my region that you worked well over the 40 hours you were supposed to be scheduled to run a store and dedicated your life to the company. Once the economy started going south corporate made decisions that compromised the integrity of the product and culture of the company in making changes to stay afloat that must have sounded good in an office in Seattle but were completely impractical for daily store operations. The way things ran before 2007 were great. Then not so much.

Pros

This is a company that really sits where it stands. Ethics, integrity, and respect are huge here. I love my job, but it is not for everyone.

Cons

Sometimes overwhelming. At times expectations can seem impossible to meet.
