Pros

You can balance your work and personal life if you work at it. There are some great people who work there and are great to work with.

Cons

There is very little leadership to speak off... at least when it comes to setting clear direction. The corporate culture it was known for doesn't exist anymore.

Pros

Good benefits, good people, decent wages.

Cons

it's the food industry, and semi-fast food too. There's not much else to say about it.

Pros

Free coffee, great peers, local community involvement is engaging

Cons

no work/life balance; seems to be a disconnect between senior management (i.e. Howard Schultz) and some of the upper middle management (i.e. RVP's and RDO's) in terms of company vision; company rolls out to many initiatives at once and does allow enough time for stores to master before moving on to the next; not enough labor to deliver the kind of customer service they are striving to achieve; not recognized frequently or genuinely for efforts by direct boss; great results are never enough; insensitivity to new mothers (for breastfeeding, travel, etc)
