Thank you for sharing your review. Our open and ambitious culture is terrific I agree and flexibility and hybrid working is popular with our colleagues. We have an innovative, creative and truly global environment where we work alongside inspiring colleagues on rewarding projects. We have last year launched a new career hub which helps guide and give lots of useful information on career progression so please take a look at that and speak to you manager to guide you. Thanks again.

Pros

Very important mission, some amazing colleagues, and a global network.

Cons

Springer Nature acquired our company, laid staff off, and then sold us for parts after taking what they wanted and years of stringing us along. The experience was excruciating for the company, their management and HR teams were deeply incompetent, and their leadership approach would best be described as "supremely arrogant." Rather than focusing on making OA a reality or making publishing a better place for authors and their science, their leadership seemed more interested in empire building and perhaps resurrecting their failed IPO without articulating why anyone actually needs them. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing your review and very sorry to hear about your experiences. We do not take decisions lightly when making colleague or organisational changes. Business productivity and markets evolve and with this our strategy needs to adapt. As you say, our people are terrific and our work touches millions of people every day; the communities of researchers and educators we work with and the wider public who read and benefit from the research we publish. Without our people we couldn’t be able to deliver on our overall business mission to help solve the world’s greatest challenges.
