Pros

Good social side, company perks, subsidised canteen. Excellent role for entry-level graduates who want to launch a career in publishing.

Cons

Very difficult to progress within the company without at least a degree in science. Little or no opportunity to make internal moves within the company.

Pros

Some people in the IT department are really good professionals, with a lot of technical expertise and a very agile mindset. A group of people inside the department strives to create a better culture and are very active with nice initiatives like, hack days, lunch and learn sessions and a book club. This nice initiatives are tolerated rather than encouraged by middle management. The environment is relaxed as well as the work load

Cons

Very old school company Not really into the agile mindset, just part of the IT department behave agile Too much cost driven. Costs are sometimes more important than the potential revenue that incurring in that cost could provide Being almost a monopoly there is little need to constantly improve
