Pros

A chance to learn different programming languages and put the latest buzzwords on your CV

Cons

Software development in London office is run by a clique of ex-ThoughtWorks (IT consultancy) employees who are afraid of people asking the “wrong questions”. Yes, some mess was created by a recent merger, but the current development, instead of consolidating on one of the platform, generates even more mess with no sign of proper technical leadership, just former IT consultancy employees writing and re-writing again whatever they fancy while ensuring that nobody else steps out of the line. The only way to survive there is to keep your head down, and to be careful not to ask accidentally a “wrong question” while learning to do your job.
