Less workload and casual work environment

Cons

No growth No new Technologies TL's of the team are in the organization for 10 years so they don't accept new ideas They want the team to perform according to themselves. You work on In-House tools so this experience are of no use if you plan to switch the job. The troubleshooting is mostly on database and they have a set of queries which you run. Most of the team members are planning to switch the organization. Their new criteria is to have new recruits with engineering degree whereas the TL themselves have a bachelor's degree.

Cons

Stressful when new publishing solutions are deployed. Company overlooks the customer goodwill skills that staff use at such times. Production editors can placate and reassure incensed academic societies thus retaining business and avoiding costly legal fees.
