Pros

An excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain insight into the publishing and media industry, particularly in understanding how the sector is evolving in response to emerging technologies such as AI.

Cons

Compensation remains below industry standards, and advancement opportunities often appear to be driven more by internal favoritism than by measurable contributions to business growth or revenue performance. Leadership—particularly at the Director of Marketing level—often seemed disconnected from the core marketing team, prioritizing directives from other departments. As a result, key marketing initiatives were frequently delayed due to our dependence on the tech team for essential functionality and access to critical data.
