Pros

Good work/life balance with possibility to work from home (1 day/week for editorial roles), many business travel opportunities, diverse international colleagues and inspiring values to live by. The Nature team focus on the content quality and strives in positivity. Colleagues are highly collaborative and share constructive feedback. Lots of freedom and independence as some line managers are based in different countries. HR has improved substantially in MENA in the last year, with procedures slowly being standardized across the region.

Cons

Springer and Macmillan focus more on product sales rather than product quality. This discourages some and contributes to a high employee turnover. Unisys IT support is a nightmare.
