Not a good company

Pros

* Product based tag. * You will get the opportunity to work with latest tech stacks.

Cons

* Lots of politics. * If you have joined as Java developer then the management will give you some time to learn Scala, Concourse, halfpipe and kafka. They assess you by giving the tough assignment and sometimes they laugh at you as well. If you are not able to learn in the said time along with working in the project then the manager and hr will call you in a separate meeting and they will tell you to put paper or resign yourself and they will release you after 1 month. * Job security is not there.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and sorry to read that your workload is currently high. At Springer Nature we are very proud of the work we do to contribute to finding solutions to some of the World's greatest challenges. Here we get to do this everyday. One of the most popular aspects of our culture is our work life balance and our wonderful people. We review our pay regularly in line with the industry and our flexible benefits package and (in Berlin) our free holiday between Xmas and the New Year is also proving very popular.

Thank you for sharing. We are proud of our people and the positive impact that our colleagues have on our communities and customers. Flexible working and our open and transparent culture and of course fun office space in London is great fun. We look to celebrate together and our Summer and Winter parties are popular. We regularly look to benchmark our salaries in line with our competitors and everyone's contributions are valued.
