I think that the team cohesion (mentioned in the "Pros" section above) is mostly created by shared adversity and unfortunately that adversity is mostly created by upper management - either unknowingly or ineptly - or by clever design. (See other reviews for details) If you're willing to keep your head down, do your job and don't expect a corporation to fulfill all your dreams and expectations you'll probably be able to pay your rent/mortgage and enjoy working with your colleagues. Perhaps think of signing on as more of a contract position in your mind - but with more paperwork and a bit more commitment. I mean after all most gigs are temporary these days, right?

Oversight from remote management can drag things down.
