Pros

Management support extending responsibility beyond role and delivering at a higher level. Good for experience (careful you may not get recognition or reward). Company benefits from Capgemini are great.

Cons

Expectation to additional out of hours work on business development, LinkedIn articles etc regardless of client facing responsibility and hours worked. This directly impacts annual review, salary and bonus payment. Career progression, management engagement heavily impacted by face fits. Work life balance extremely secondary to client satisfaction. Not very rewarding.
