Strict billed hours driven rules for consultants, above long term development. When the the work is slower, you might get asked to look for sales opportunites even as technical role. On the outside presented as one company, but internally working very much like separate entitites in each country

SoftwareOne is an old world retailer disguised as a Tech Company. Their only way to get better is to operational excellence but new blood hired for this not staying due to old boys club dynamics. Crayon integration created duplicates of all levels. Leaders while promising market to create synergies, keep these at higher levels as visible in dual CEO model. Highly politic and toxic environment. No stability, no strategy, no leadership. The future of the company is decided by Microsoft not by the leaders and their strategies. If Microsoft pays, they are successful so no real need for strategy. Leaders and middle managers know this and their only attention is to keep their job whatever it takes.
