      Pros

      People are extremely friendly. Projects are interesting Timelines are reasonable Flexible hours.

      Cons

      Salary is low compared to experience and compared to rest of industry Work environment is hectic which compromises safety. Safety is poor. Time off is lower than other companies. Compensation packages are worse than other companies. Communication between sites is poor.

      Pros

      Decent Worklife balance (40-50 hrs a week, no crunch-times) Professional, kind, and diverse workforce Good pay and benefits (mostly) Career advancement does exist Loyalty to the company seems to be rewarded Volunteer opportunities are available Career-related training is provided

      Cons

      Workpalce Safety and regulation is at a bare minimum to be legally compliant Career advancement path seems uncertain and non-linear High amount of bureaucratic and administrative work for a scientist (boring) Not a lot of vacation days - seems to be the absolute minimum. You have to work for the company for 5 years in order to get the time off that is standard for many other companies from day 1.
