* Great place to work due to the knowledge can be learnt and friendly colleagues, typical European organization style; * Salary and benefits are above market rate and the office is located at Toa Payoh (central of Singapore), easy for commute; * Established work flow and mature company operation, although sometimes a bit not flexible, at least there is a guideline; * Roles and responsibilities are clear;
Cons
* The "great" part subject to which role you are and which department you are in : Engineers who front the project always need to sacrifice, same applies to Project Managers; * It does not mean that Sales department is much easier (a bit easier is surely), as the top management is after all figures and numbers; * The working environment is getting hash comparing to last time (Dutch leadership) due to the strong competition from other LED manufacturers. Therefore the management style been changed from "guiding and requesting" to "commanding and controlling".
