      Pros

      highly professional colleagues. pay the right people the right amount Your effort will pay off at the end in the bank, though may be slow

      Cons

      As a retail bank, the investment banking division is still young and related backoffice and IT support is inadequate Not structural, no formal training, everyone work their own way out.

      Benefits, company sponsored sporting game events (Mavericks/Stars/Rangers/Cowboys), compensation, bonus

      Cons

      Long hours in the Accounting/Finance dept, no discount or employer paid parking, politics and favoritism, no room for growth, company is expanding/growing too fast and not enough workers, very unstable, horrible managers that should not be in that role. Seems that management is comfortable in their role and does whatever is necessary to keep it, even if it means throwing you under the bus.

      Pros

      I was part of an acquisition with Citi Financial Auto and Santander Consumer USA. All employees were transferred to Santander with the acquisition. The company compensated employees very well in income and benefits. Unfortunately, they closed their business in South Carolina.

      Cons

      The expectation of employee production was a little too high. Also I felt the company gave the Human Resources Department too much authority. Their computer programs were always down.
