Pros
Professional development was strongly discouraged. It's not Santander it's IT GRC. Training literature from professional organizations or external training could not be shared. Yes you read that correctly. Or the manager with many certifications would slap you on the wrist. That happened twice. That alone solidified my decision to leave. Extreme unprofessionalism. It was hard to focus on work concerned about who from management would backstab next. Initially you never knew where the fables were coming from, but ultimately you didnt care. You just wanted out. Middle and top management supported the unprofessionalism and oiled it's wheels. It was so tiring it took twice as much effort just to search for another job. The door out of IT GRC was like a fan at it's highest setting.

Ridiculously poor management. Extremely high Turnover. Very unprofessional.
