Pros

Very few (I must add five words so this is a few more)

Cons

Extremely poor staff morale, Management are miss guided, systems are unconnected and investment is lacking in all areas. Complaints management and issue resolution is woefully poor. Disconnected company structure based on a culture of internal "external" outsourcing, for example IT team is actually treated as a 3rd party endeavor not an internal team. Extremely blame driven culture and incompetent senior management. Company is seen as a success due to not seemingly being affected by the credit crunch, this is actually born only from Spanish banking laws preventing the company from entering into the sub prime credit market in my opinion. Non existent career progressing proven in the fact that the HR team is woefully lacking.

Pros

My paycheck was the only think to look forward to.

Cons

Where do I begin? I'll start by saying that if you are seriously considering a job at this bank, please reconsider. The management is terrible and this starts at the top. Everyone is scared of their boss and their boss is scared of upper management. There is a VERY negative culture. It is both unprofessional and demeaning. Every single employee at the company is micro managed. This isn't limited to just one position but is engrained in the company protocol. My paycheck is the only thing that kept me around for the time I was there. It is a sweatshop and you'd be best served to RUN not walk away from a job offer. There are plenty of other banks to work for. THEY 100% earned their awful glassdoor rating.

Pros

Aren't a lot of budget or time constraints. Normal operations will take however long they will take and cost whatever it will cost. But if there is a huge deal on the line, then it is a "deliver at all costs" mentality. They'll bring in lunch & dinner to keep the machine going.

Cons

Immature with processes & procedure. High rate of change and resource attrition. Short-term planning because goals seem to change every other day.
