Really nasty experience for 3 years

Pros

If you are a workaholic this is your place, as long hours are required and NO overtime paid.

Cons

Managers and some co-workers are racists. Always giving hard projects to minories and treating them really nasty (as a side note, a manager's phone rings "immigration!" and always when a socalled minority staff member is around, so disgusting and nasty of this manager). I'm happy I finished my last contract with this company.

Great stable company. Great benefits. Flexibility with work hours and work from home options decent pay

Cons

Unrealistic and often unreachable goals and deadlines set. American holidays are ignored. Forced to work 4th of July and long hours

Great Place to work, HR is Toxic

Pros

It is a great place to work out in the businesses. However corporate is not a happy place. There are a lot of oppurtunities to succeed.

Cons

HR does not have the right leadership. The comp and benefits group is self distructive and is totally company focused instead of the employees. If you are going to work in HR please Google your management. You will see what I mean.

I recommend you get your manager involved and see if he/she can help you with your situation. I would normally encourage employees to talk to HR, but that doesn't seem to be the right advice in this situation. I know it must be tough coming to work and not loving your job. Have you looked on OpenJob to see if there are other opportunities you may enjoy more?
