      You are left alone to do your job.

      Cons

      It's impossible to apply for a position internally. You must update your internal corporate profile and hope someone likes your CV and they will then invite you to the new position, in theory this works well. In practice it makes employees stagnate in their roles. This is even harder on employees from acquired companies.
