      Pros

      At least in my department: - quite good development culture - quite good social benefits - business trips and the relocation possibilities (at the best time of the company - non crisis time)

      Cons

      At least in my department: - sometimes develop in hurry - implicitly forcing overtime work culture - oil and gas domain - you have to know it - geology based engineer (not software developer) is first class citizen

      Pros

      The money (clearly!) Progression route is clear, you self-apply for promotions. Strong drive to give ongoing promotions to technical people. They are also happy for you to move about within the company, even to a different area

      Cons

      Pretty non-existent social culture. This seems to be changing, but would be nice to see more company events. Massive push for HSE, even in a brand new office, with nothing reallyrelevent
