      Pros

      Many job openings now. Reasonable salaries & benefits, especially for people with children-- insurance, maternity & paternity leave, childcare, summer daycamp, swimming lessons & recreational swimming, exercise, sports & other activities.

      Cons

      Fast pace of change in past few years, many new systems & procedures, loss of many experienced employees due to involuntary layoffs as well as voluntary departures & retirements.

      Changing environment that now values outside hires over internal candidates, limiting longer term employees opportunity to grow. The current unspoken message is that employees that have been with SCJ for a while are no longer of value and will likely be mostly exited from the company in the next 1-3 years.
