      Pros

      Work life balance and lots of superficial benefits. Has potential with amazing technology and cutting edge

      Cons

      Stuck in the past with antiquated delivery methods of data. Visualizations getting better but very late to the game. A lot more nimble companies are leap frogging SAS in user experience and reliability. Costs are stuck in old model that doesn't work in todays market.

      Pros

      BENEFITS. BENEFITS. BENEFITS. It's all anyone (in my line of work) will tell you is the number one reason they stay. A slightly higher pay than the secular population (i.e,..private preschools, public daycares - Bright Horizons, Goddard School, Little Pros, etc.) Well maintained aesthetically Montessori based-work environment/building/equipment.

      Cons

      Little to no movement. When positions are posted - well assumed favored candidates are pre-selected before interview process. Only division within company that confers with surrounding peer employees for feedback on whether candidates are good "fit". Subs, Floaters, Assistants all consider as one lateral position(s) - meaning no pay differential, even though more responsibility is generally expected from each position. #1 Con: Vacations. Only 6 people in daycare allowed off per day. Makes planning & ability to take vacation a virtual lottery nightmare.

      Flexibility + Innovation + Receptive to new ideas + Varied skills + Opportunities + Transparency = SSO

      Cons

      Sometimes the deadlines are quite strict but the management is rewarding and cooperating and provides flexibility to work from home when needed. So, it doesnt affect.
