      Pros

      I've had a great experience working here. You are taken care of as an employee and there are many opportunities to grow within SAS. There are so many free training courses given to employees which is amazing so there isn't an excuse to not grow and learn. Most everyone I've worked with is friendly and has a positive attitude.

      Cons

      When applying for a position internally you pretty much have to hurry up and wait as HR is slow. I've not had many bad experiences other than that.

      Pros

      Outstanding benefits, good work/life balance, lots of perks at campus/headquarters. Privately owned company, not subject to the whims of a board nor does management succumb to short-term earnings pressures. Profit sharing (in lieu of equity) is generally on the generous side.

      Cons

      Even though the company professes to be "flat" in terms of management, there are plenty of managerial levels. If you are not located in the North Carolina HQs, you may be lost in the shuffle of any reorganization - out of sight, out of mind. Salaries below market. R&D rules the roost.

      Pros

      People are really nice and they would like to offer you a lot of help. It also has great campus and North Carolina is beautiful. You can have a nice balance of life and work here. You can have a food life in Cary/Raleigh area.

      Cons

      It is not innovative enough and its product is not very excited.
