Pros

Great benefits and investment in employees, highly social, advancement.

Cons

Company (Memex) was bought by SAS and was left with bad habits. Veteran developers working at coding roles and low experience developers (1-3 years out of university) in decision making positions (supervisors, team leaders and even managers). Too much moving around of staff meant that, my original reasons and conditions of taking the position were forgotten 3 months in.

Pros

Training is encouraged all the time, the company has a lot solutions for which training is required and the work ethic is the best. The mood of the company is relaxed and open for newcomers.

Cons

After several years, growth is hard to find unless you move across departments. Salaries are not on the high side of the industry.

Pros

great benefits, great environment (most people get their own offices), 35 hour work week.

Cons

-Not a great place for young people. Entry level positions are rarely posted, it's hard to move around. -Many of the benefits are geared towards middle-aged to older. (ie daycare). -Pay is below average.
