      Great Company if you work out of the HQ

      Pros

      Great benefits and excellent work environment.

      Cons

      If you don't work out of the HQ, you are at a disadvantage. It's all about who you know, since many jobs are filled internally and are never posted externally. Opportunities in regional offices are limited unless you are in Sales or Professional Services. Departments tend to be reorged every few years, which makes things a bit unsettled for employees.

      Pros

      Great group of people with values focused on work and family. The balance here is second to none and a great place to be.

      Cons

      This is a very large company and can feel that way. They do have great leadership with an open door policy, so do not be afraid to ask. The worst they can do is say no.

      Excellent Training, good health care benefits, good co-workers.

      Cons

      Low Base Salary and very high quotas without enough account to meet the quota realistically. If you continue to blow out your quota, SAS cuts your ability to make large commissions by adding reps to the subsidiaries of your accounts. It kills them to pay out large commissions. Jim Goodnight believes the Software sells itself so they should not have to pay reps over a certain dollar amount in commission-even if the quota plans says they should.
