Good medical, dental, vision insurance. Not sure how much longer it will last.

Cons

Not every manager or division head follows the idea of work/life balance. It’s like pulling teeth to get them to understand when they are so far removed from their own family responsibilities. Not friendly to the struggles of single-parenting. Management expects everyone to be on campus every day. Working from home is frowned upon. Inconsistent with policies. One policy is interpreted one way for one employee and the same policy is interpreted completely differently for another employee. Even under the same manager.

Market-leading software that was once innovative; Work-life balance

Cons

Flat entity with limited opportunities for growth or promotion Senior leadership makes poor executive decisions and devalues the sales process. Until leadership changes and installs individuals having ethics and real expertise, this company will continue to decline.

Pros

The work - life balance is great. Coworkers are a joy to work with. On site doctor and cafes are nice to have. The development work is fun and I feel like I have a lot of control and input on what to work on.

Cons

Financial benefits have started to slide a bit compared to the rest of industry. SAS as a whole doesn't take open source software seriously enough as a threat to market-share.
