Pros

Benefits, on-site facilities (Cafes, gym, pool, tennis courts, soccer fields, softball field, frisbee golf course, day care, 1/4 mile track, healthcare center)

Cons

Salary is not competitive enough to keep top talent. Some of the products released do not feel ready for prime time but they are still released anyway. There is not real standardization of installs/configurations for customers. When it gets to Technical Support it is already too late to correct.

Pros

Still a lot of positives about the company. I believe in Dr. Goodnight's leadership, but wary for the future.

Cons

...Not sure what future years will hold for the company. Rumor mill saying we'll be sold or go public... or management wants to thin the herd and see if some people will leave. We've had many other episodes of hiring freezes and we definitely need to be keeping expenses in check. But never have there been no raises.

Pros

You are given a chance to succeed. Most of the time the territories that are not filled internally will be more challenging, but you have a chance to make a difference and work it. It's not one of those companies where if you don't produce the first quarter, you are out. Plenty of resources and support to help - especially if you are at a HQ or large local office. People are very supportive and friendly. Leadership is approachable. Customer focused and ethical.

Cons

If you are single, a "dual-income, no kids" or not at HQ, all the "great place to work" and "fantastic benefits" comments may not mean so much to you. A lot of the benefits people praise are child care and health care on site for HQ employees. If you are a millenial or someone who is more aggressive, you may be frustrated at the 9-5 culture and mediocrity surrounding you. Leadership is home-grown. Same people in same positions forever so if you are looking to move up quickly, this may not be the place for you.
