Great cultural vibe, but benefits and events are declining

Pros

Good work environment, good people, young and great cultural vibe in the Barcelona office (not the case for all offices globally, this one attracts a lot of young talent).

Cons

Loosing benefits in the last couple of years. No events, parties or budget for social gatherings. Hard to hire new roles and progress, specially as a designer. Restructuring programs are often (although they do do their best to keep you in other roles)

Pros

SAP genuinely invests in its people. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and the culture around learning and career growth is real, not just talk. There's a real sense that the company wants you to develop and succeed long-term.

Cons

Senior leadership changes frequently, and with each cycle comes a new set of priorities, renamed initiatives, and reshuffled acronyms. Every January can feel like a reset button, which makes it hard to build momentum or see long-term projects through. It's not unique to SAP, but it's something to be aware of going in.
