SAP really makes an effort to reward people who demonstrate talent and hard work. SAP consultants get to help SAP's customers, and mentor others in the consulting practice. Numerous opportunities are available for "training-up" on new skills, and for networking with colleagues of similar interests. SAP provides systems where you can try out their newest stuff. And I also have made good friends among my colleagues. Most of all, I enjoy the prestige that SAP consultants have earned. You're respected as being among the very best.
Cons
As a consultant at SAP, you travel a lot. Because of that, it requires effort to maintain a personal life.
