Pros
It's a tech company. Pay is reasonable, given the lowball "salaries" (if one is lucky to have one) that have become standard in the economy. Benefits are good.
Cons
Zero visibility to those on the ground. All major decisions are made in Germany, and are often shortsighted and/or senseless. Developers who aren't in Waldorf or Bangalore often get the short end of the stick, while expecting to conform to half-year deadlines. Teams are spread out across timezones, making it difficult to collaborate effectively. Core backend technology is severely outdated and causes a lot of problems with modern client-side application implementations (i.e. mobile).
