Pros

employee friendly ,lot of perks, defined process for almost everything, management is approachable in case of any issue or query, free food, lot of activities if you are in Bangalore campus

Cons

Don't have a chance to select the project for the first 2 years, so even if you are not liking it most of the time you need to stick to that

Pros

- Great market position - Great Work Life balance - Have the right resources to compete with the big players in cloud - Some great work done by few people.

Cons

- No learning after a while unless you change roles which is very complicated. - Top management (especially in India) way too focused on getting employer awards from various magazines and not on complicated, outdated internal policies. - Lot of irrelevant processes created by older people just to stay relevant. This in turn creates hurdles for quick developments/improvements. - Average engineering talent compared to other product based companies. A tendency to hire people from service based companies and then ask them to make the company as good as the leading companies. Not going to happen. - Incompetent HR department. Great employee friendly policies. But the resource distribution is simply ridiculous in terms. Absolutely no intention of putting the right people in right roles. No steps taken upon feedback. Only thing you listen is you have to come up yourself. Keep up this attitude and most of the talented will keep quitting, leaving the company with mediocre talent. - Finally, older people helping each other out only to keep their jobs. It's appalling how poor most of the experienced people are technically even though their roles involve mostly technical work. - No hiring in mid level or senior roles. People who have stayed in the company for long look out for each other and promote each other. Most of them do not care about the company. No senior expert people for cloud, only lots of fresher hiring. Freshers can only go as far as coding good requirements, but the design and architecture has to come from experts (ther are very few in the company). Most experts have outdated knowledge.
